This is a rabbit hole of thought provoking myths, legends, and mystery. The stories you will find in “The Lure” are fictional and include series and short stories to match just about every genre.
These are works of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

…now that’s out of the way, here’s an excerpt of “Curse of the Chances Peak Mermaid” fictional series:
“I don’t know about all mermaids, but the Chances Peak mermaid is definitely real. Many people, especially fishermen, have reported seeing her. In fact, hundreds of us would go up to the Chances Peak pond as early as we could to ensure that we make that 3,002 foot climb by the time it was dawn on Easter Sunday.”
